Altered book is the art book which made with some book by destroying the form. The Toilet Book is made from an old English - Japanese dictionary. It is kind of recycling art that I like doing.

Landscape paintings,

I painted from my photo from Myanmar.



Kanancyo, Osaka. Around my neighbor. My house is all the way back behind the little electric tower.

This semester, I started doing oil paintings. I just started, but I did landscape painting for the first time. It has been hard, but I feel better than when I learned about doing still life. Also, with oil, I did not to paint over when I had the wrong color mixing. They are the ones that  I got good comments from my instructor. They are not too abstract, but I learned that it is better not to go all of the details. 

I have been busy, so I updated this blog, after a while. I will get back with more....

Fall Works, Still Life 2

Here are the rest of my Still Life works from Fall, '07. This is my second painting class at the Academy of Art. I was struggling to see other online students who have already experienced. But I tried very hard and became better myself, so I am proud of myself. I hope to improve more this year.

Here I finished Fall semester and updating my works to post. These are from Intermediate figure drawing class. I took class with most of the Illustration major students. That was somehow challenging.

Sennichimae

I finished my cityscape watercolor paintin. It has many colors and things, so I never thought that I would finish. This is the final work for my watercolor class. It was hard, but I enjoyed it. The dragon is an egg noodle store popular in Osaka, Japan. This is my hung around area since my high school time.
